Bano Qudsia was conceived on 28 November 1928 in Firozpur, British India, as Qudsia Chattha. Her dad was a Bachelor of Agriculture and her sibling Pervaiz Chattah was a painter. She moved to Lahore together with her family after the segment of India and had started composing short stories while considering in school 5. She moved on from the Kinnaird College in Lahore and afterward joined the govt College University (Lahore) (GCU) to try to her lords in Urdu writing which she finished in 1951.
